Dan Gilroy, who both wrote and directed Nightcrawler, has entered production on his next film, a horror-thriller, for Netflix.
Gilroy will reunite with Jake Gyllenhaal, star of Nightcrawler for the film that has an amazing cast that also includes John Malkovich, Rene Russo, Natalie Dyer, Toni Collette, Daveed Diggs, Zawe Ashton, and Tom Sturridge.
Variety reports that the film centers on a “big-money artist and mega-collectors who pay a high price when art collides with commerce.”
Jennifer Fox is producing, with Betsy Danbury serving as executive producer.
If we’re lucky, we should see the still-untitled film released later this year.
