Last month FOX announced that they were canceling the series “Lucifer” after its third season which has now ended. Fans quickly started petitions to get FOX to change its mind or convince other networks to pick up the series and it may have paid off.
According to Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke, they have has talked about keeping “Lucifer” alive. While talking to Deadline on Thursday, Salke confirmed that talks about taking over Lucifer were happening and that’s as recently as a few days ago.

We were talking about Lucifer” Salke stated. “I’m not sure where we are on that. I know that international, especially the UK group, was really bullish on that show, I haven’t checked in on that today Thursday), but I heard conversations were ongoing on that yesterday.”

Hopefully, the folks over at Amazon will decide to go ahead and save “Lucifer“. It wouldn’t be the only show that Amazon has rescued from cancelation. Only days after Syfy canceled “The Expense” Amazon gave it a new home. Let’s hope that they will do it for “Lucifer” as well.
