Horror icon Bill Moseley is to play the role the role of Crepitus in the film by the same name, co-written, directed and produced by Haynze Whitmore. The character is an ancient entity who feeds by consuming children. Not only is the entity evil, it appears as a clown making it twice as twisted.
Moseley has had a great career in the genre, with roles in Army of Darkness, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, Devil’s Rejects, House of 1000 Corpses, Halloween (2007) and many other films. He also co-stars in upcoming horror film Death House.
In the film Moseley will co-star along with Lance Paul, Raiden Moore, Jackey Hall, Mike Hard, and Caitlin Williams. Eddie and Sarah Renner co-wrote the script with Whitmore. Paul, Renner and Whitmore are listed as producers for the film.
Crepitus centers around seventeen year old Elizabeth and her younger brother Julian, The two are about to face something even more frightening than their life with their alcoholic, abusive mother. When the family is forced to move into their grandfather’s old house the ghosts are the least of their problems. They will soon learn the horrible secrets about their family. Just when it seems things couldn’t get any worse for the siblings, they become the target of Crepitus.
