After their young daughter Emma is found brutally murdered, Allen and Julie leave the city and move into an isolated cabin deep in the mountains. Julie is struggling with depression and blames Allen for Emma’s death. Julie explores an abandoned prison and takes a series of photos. Julie notices what looks lie Emma in the photos, which leads her to become obsessed with capturing photos of spirits. The couple soon learns of  a suicide that took place in their new home and begin to experience strange events.


Brain Avenet-Bradley both wrote and directed ‘Dark Remains’, an indie ghost movie. ‘The Signal’ actress Cheri Christian stars as Julie, the mourning mother. Greg Thompson (Second Coming) plays the role of Emma’s father, Allen. Emma is played by Rachel Jordon.


‘Dark Remains’ was released in 2005.
