Jason Stange, wanted in Tacoma, Washington, in connection bank robbery was captured this week. Federal agents stumbled across an article in the local paper about the low-budget horror film ‘Marla Mae’, being filmed in the nearby town of Olympia. The officers were surprised to see a photo of the wanted man in the article, listed as playing the role of a Planned Parenthood doctor. The photo showed a tattoo on his arm, which was used to confirm the man was indeed Stange. Stange was also dumb enough to use his real name when interviewed for the article. He was still on the set of the film, when he was arrested.
The film’s director said the footage shot of Stange in his role will still be used in the film, which will be out in 2016.
