Wild Eye Releasing has released the first film inspired by the true unsolved case of ‘The Long Island Serial Killer’. The film covers the brutal killings at the hands of a serial killer who targets the sex workers. The film puts a fictitious coed in the path of the brutal killer, who is believed to have killed around fifteen women in real life. The young woman turns to the escorting in desperation, but unwittingly puts herself in the path of the vicious killer.

The movie stars Jennifer Polansky, Adam Ginsberg, Dewey Wynn, Renee Kay, Ryan Kaiser, Lindsey DeLuca, Mathew Smolko, Josephine Pizzino and Stav Livine. ‘The Long Island Serial Killer was directed and co-written by Joseph DiPietro.

Family and friends of the murdered women are still hunting for answers, but the police have yet to catch the killer, who lured prostitutes to their deaths through the internet and left a string of dead bodies along the beaches of Long Island. A police officer and his dog found the skeletal remains of a woman in the burlap sack on the beach on December 10, 2010 while out on a training exorcise. The body is labeled as the first victim of The Long Island Serial Killer.  The police believe the still free serial killer actually began killing in 1996 and has taken the lives of ten to fifteen men and women.
