In ‘Standoff’ war veteran Carter Greene lives alone in a rustic farmhouse. Carter is grieving his failed marriage and the death of his young son. Bird, a twelve year old orphaned girl, witnesses a professional assassin kill a group of people at a grave side service on the anniversary of her parents death. Bird flees into the woods with Sade, the killer in pursuit. Bird takes shelter in Carter’s farmhouse, where he vows to protect her.
After starring in the series ‘Hannibal’ actor Lauerence Fishburne should have no problem with his role as Sade, the psychotic killer. Thomas Jane (The Mist, Before I Wake) plays Carter in this psychological thriller. Ella Ballentine (Reign) has been cast Bird. Adam Alleca both wrote and directed ‘Standoff’. Alleca also penned the script for the remake of ‘The Last House on the Left’ (2009). There is no release date listed as of now.
