Geena Davis, the actress who played the role of the newly-departed Barbra in ‘Beetlejuice’, told ETonline that she would love to return for the upcoming sequel Beetlejuice 2.
“I did hear that it’s really happening.” Davis continued “No one’s talked to me about it. I would love to! That was one of my favorite movies, too.”
Davis did bring up one problem that could keep her character and her character’s husband, played by Alec Baldwin, from reprising their rules.
“Ghosts probably don’t age, and it’s going to be 30 years now. Of course, I haven’t aged, but I think Alec Baldwin maybe has ages, perhaps,” she joked.
Winona Ryder confirmed last month that a sequel is indeed in the works. Tim Burton, Ryder and Michael Keaton, Beetlejuice himself, have already signed up to return for the project.
“It’s Showtime!”
