Eli Roth’s controversial film, ‘The Green Inferno‘, caused a stir in theaters, even making some viewers faint. Soon, we will be able to watch its gory goodness in the comfort of our own homes. On January 5th, you will be able to pick up your copy of the DVD or Blu-ray in local stores or on the net via Universal.
The movie follows a group of student activists who are traveling from New York to the Amazon to protect a small tribe from destruction by land developers. When their plane crashes in the jungle they are taken hostage by the very tribe they are trying to protect. The tribe are not the gentle people the students thought they were. Soon, they realize that they are in real danger and that “no good deed goes unpunished”. The group is at the mercy of cannibals.
‘The Green Inferno’ stars ‘Knock Knock’ actress Lorenza Izzo , Ariel Levy (Aftershock), Kirby Bliss Blanton (Project X), Daryl Sabara (John Carter) and Sky Ferreira (Larry Crowne). The film was directed by Eli Roth (Hostel), who also wrote the ‘The Green Inferno’, along side Guillermo Amoedo (Knock Knock).
