The executive produce of The Stranger and co-producer of Old Boy, Sonny Malhi, makes his directorial debut with the supernatural thriller Anguish, which also wrote. The film, inspired by true events, follows a teenager, Tess, who has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals. Tess has been diagnosed with an identity disorder, but could they have been wrong? Tess may have the ability to see spirits, which gives them the ability to take over her body.
Anguish, inspired by true events, stars Ryan Simpkins as the trouble girl, Tess. The cast also includes Annika Marks, Karina Logue, Cliff Chamberlain, Amberley Gridley, Ryan O’Nan and Paulina Olszynski.
Gravitas Pictures will be releasing Anguish in select theaters and on VOD on December 18th.
