Showtime has debuted a new teaser for their upcoming Twin Peaks revival, set to premiere in 2017. The series is currently in production and will be directed by the show’s creator David Lynch.
The groundbreaking series follows the residents of a small northwestern town. When their homecoming queen is murdered the town’s sheriff welcomes the help of FBI agent Dale Cooper to help solve the case. As Cooper investigates, the town’s secret come to light. The upcoming series will pick up twenty-five years later.
Dana Ashbrook, Sheryl Lee, Kyle MacLachlan, Kimmy Robertson, Lara Flynn Boyle , Piper Laurie, Ray Wise, Joan Chen, Madchen Amick and Sherilyn Fenn will be returning for the series. They will be joined by new cast members, including Amanda Seyfried.
