IFC Midnight in conjunction with Scream Factory will be releasing the outbreak film Contracted: Phase 2 on January 12th, 2016.
The film picks up right after the events of the first film, released in 2013. Matt Mercer is back as Riley, now infected and quickly running out of time. Riley is on a mission to learn what he can about the virus before it’s too late. He attracts the attention of a Detective (Palka) who doubts his innocence, and BJ (Brown) who holds the key to the virus and to the destruction of mankind.
Peter Cilella, Marianna Palka, Laurel Vail, Morgan Peter Brown, Alice Macdonald, Suzanne Voss and Anna Lore also appear in the film, directed by Josh Forbes.
