Real Creatures That Belong In Horror Films – Part I

There are a lot of strange creatures on Earth. Some look like they’re from another world, others look like they escaped from scene out of a horror film. A lot of people find sharks terrifying, but the Goblin Shark looks like something that would make you want to avoid the ocean for the rest of your life. The Goblin Shark is pink, with a mouth that shoots out of it’s face. The shark can reach up to 3.84 meters long. It’s so strange that it does not fit in any other shark family. Don’t worry, the odds of you running into this creepy creature are slim, it prefers the deep sea. For zombie fans, the next oddity should be right up your ally. Technically this strange thing is a fungus, but I believe it belongs on this list. The Cordyceps, a parasitic fungus, infect insects, turning them into real life zombies by controlling its host’s actions in the name of

COD Zombies – Shadows of Evil Review

With every new year comes a new Call of Duty. It has joined Death and Taxes on the list of inevitabilities. Thankfully, Black Ops 3 once again gives us the pleasure of blasting the heads off of shambling corpses. I’ll be honest, it’s the main reason I bought the game. Ever since they were introduced back in World at War, I have been an avid zombie hunter. This year, they changed it up a bit -although it does borrow some mechanics from older maps. Previous games have had well known faces and voices in your control as you take on the hordes of undead, and this one is no different. We get Neal McDonough (Arrow, Minority Report), Heather Graham (Boogie Nights, The Hangover), Ron Pearlman (Hellboy, Sons of Anarchy), and my personal favourite – Jeff Goldblum (Independence Day, Jurassic Park). All based in a 40’s era noir-esque map accompanied by some catchy jazz riffs. However, even with others boasting awesome

Deck The Halls With Hallmark’s 2015 Horror Ornaments

It’s that time of year again, time to deck the halls and to be jolly. This year Hallmark has added several amazing ornaments to it’s 2015 Dream Book , made with us horror fans in mind. Jaws “Watch out for your fingers when you hang this ornament from the tree! With the press of a button, the ‘Jaws” theme song will play making your heart race just like the first time you watched the iconic film” I’m a HUGE Jaws Fan. I have already added this ornament to my list for Santa. Alien Xenomorph “What better way to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the science fiction thriller Alien, than to put the film’s frightening “Xenomorph” on your tree.” I have to say, the Xenomorph ornament looks more fantastic! Run! It’s Godzilla! “One of the most iconic characters in pop culture, Godzilla has been “King of Monsters” since he smashed onto the big screen.” Frankenstein’s Monster “Add this horror movie classic

Wolf Cop 2 Begins Filming Soon !

The sequel to 2014’s horror-comedy Wolf Cop, Wolf Cop 2, will begin filming in Saskatchewan, Canada in February, and we couldn’t be more excited! In Wolf Cop we were introduced to Lou Garou (Leo Fafard), an alcohol chugging, lazy, small town cop. Lou was a poor excuse for a cop and a human being, that was until he was the victim of an assault and a dark ritual in the back woods after a call. The ritual transformed Lou into a werewolf and a better man. Lou’s now on a mission to rid his town of corruption and drug dealers. He also happens to be a bit of a party animal. Lowell Dean’s film made a huge impression on fans, including myself, and formed an instant cult following. Wolf Cop 2‘s producer Bernie Hernando promises that “the sequel will be bigger, badder, and hairer.” “We’re excited to get the band back together after all this time,” Hernando stated. “Many of
