Production company 3B has announced that Archstone Distribution has acquired the rights to the action-packed horror film Blackburn, under their genre arm, Tombstone Distribution.
Blackburn stars an experienced cast, including Ken Kirzinger (Freddy vs. Jason), Brad Loree (Halloween: Resurrection), Lochlyn Munro (Assault on Wall Street) and Emilie Ullerup (A Little Bit Zombie), Disney’s Calum Worthy ( Austin and Ally), Zach Peledeau, Alexander Calvert and Wolf Cop’s Sarah Lind. The Soska Sisters, Jen and Sylvia Soska, writers, directors and the hosts of GSN’s Hellevator, will also be appearing in the film. The film was written by Nastasha Baron and directed by Lauro Chatrand (Born to Raise Hell).
Chartrand had this to say about the film’s cast and crew:
“Blackburn has one of the strongest cast and crews that I’ve seen and I’ve worked on dozens and dozens of productions over the past 25 years. I am very excited to be directing such top talent and working with such a passionate crew.”
Blackburn is set in a small Alaskan ghost-town with a horrifying history. A forest fire and a rockslide have trapped five arguing collage friends in the town over what might be their last night alive. The group seeks refuge inside the abandoned Blackburn Mine. They must try to band together if they want to survive the mysterious man, killing them one-by-one.
