Joan (Jennifer Jason Leigh), a single Mother, and her three children, have relocated to a new town and a new home. Unaware of its history and reputation, the family moves into the Amityville house, where Butch DeFeo butchered his family all those years ago.

Bella Thorne (Sream: The TV Series), Cameron Monaghan (Shameless), Thomas Mann (Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters), Taylor Speitler (Girl on the Edge), Kurtwood Smith (That 70’s Show) and McKenna Grace (Suburban Gothic) star in Amityville: The Awakening, written and directed by Franck Khalfoun (Maniac).

Amityville: The Awakening, the only upcoming sequel to actually be tied to the Amityville franchise (there are several other films using the Amityville name), will be released world wide on April the 14th, 2016.
