This week American Horror Story ended their fifth season (Hotel). John Landgraf, Chief Executive for FX, has alresdy revealed a coule of hints about the next season to reporters during the winter press tour on Saturday that the next season of AHS will be “set in the present” but will have “echos of the past”. He continued “It’s set in two time periods, but principally in the present.”  Landgraf wanted to reveal more, but stopped himself saying “Ryan [Murphy] would kill me if I tease anything”. It has also been said that the next season would be darker than the last.

Murphy stated that plot for season 6 has already been mentioned in a previous season, but did not say which one. He also has mentioned that there is a strong possibility that both season 6 and 7 might both happen next year, one season in the fall and one in the spring.
