A short horror film from genre genius Eli Roth promoting the role-playing game Dark Souls III, titled The Witches, has just been released. The animated short film, lasting 2 and a half minutes, follows a medieval knight on a quest to locate something. In the process he comes across 3 witches.
“I’ve always loved medieval history. I’ve always wanted to do something that was in this space, something with knights and fire, something dark, something with the classic horror storytelling elements, but something that was really different for me.” Roth said about the short film.”
Dark Souls III for Playstation 4, X-Box one and PC will land on shelves April 12, 2016 from Bandai Namco Entertainment.
