Great news Grimmsters! NBC announced today that they have renewed the thrilling, supernatural police drama, Grimm, for season 6!
“We absolutely love what our producers and cast have accomplished over the past five seasons,” Jennifer Salke, the President of NBC Entertainment stated. “They have created a whole new world of creatures and have a truly devoted fan base. We can’t wait to see what comes next.”
David Giuntoli, Claire Coffee, Sasha Roiz, Russell Hornsby, Bitsie Tulloch, Silas Weir Mitchell, Reggie Lee and Bree Turner star in Grimm. In season 5, Nick (Giuntoli), a formidable Grimm, and his friends are fighting the forces of Black Claw, a group of Wesen who want to stop hiding in the shadows and live their lives at the top of the food chain. The murderous group will stop at nothing to put humans in their place as the group rises to power. Along the way the friends will have to face Wesen of every kind while keeping their secret and protecting the people of Portland.
On top of renewing the series a short synopsis for season 7 has been released.
Nick will have to step up to protect Portland and Kelly, his baby, from Black Claw, with the help of his friends. The relationship between Police Captain Sean Renard and Nick will be changing, as Renard attempts to increase his political position.
Grimm was created by David Greewalt, Jim Kouf and Stephen Carpenter. Greenwalt and Kouf serve as executive producers along with Sean Hayes, Todd Miliner and Norberto Barba. Grimm is a Universal Television and Hazy Mills production.
