Fox’s series Lucifer, based on the DC Comic created by Neil Gaiman, Mike Dringenberg and Sam Keith, has been renewed for season 2.
The series, which averages 10.5 million viewers an episode, follows Lucifer (Tom Ellis) who has abandoned hell for the bright lights of LA. When a friend of Lucifer is gun down in front of his club he teams up with detective Chloe Dancer (Lauren German) to help solve crimes, but the longer he stays on earth the more human he becomes.
Rachael Harris (The Hangover), Lesley-Ann Brandt (Spartacus: War of the Damned), Matt Corby (The Shield), Johnathan Salisbury (Captain Cook: The Legend Begins) and D.B. Woodside (Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2) co-star in the supernatural series.
Lucifer is scripted by Tom Kapinos (Californication) and directed by Len Wiseman (Underworld) . Jerry Bruckheimer and Littman (CSI) along with Len Wiseman (Sleepy Hollow and Underworld) serve as executive producers for the series.
