By now, I’m sure you have heard the AMC Theaters has been considering allowing texting during certain showings in their theaters. Because they were concerned about those of us who couldn’t stand to be away from our electronic devices for an hour and a half?

When AMC Theaters announced their plan people took to social to voice their hatred of the idea. Do you really want a theater full of people typing away on lit screens that bing constantly? Clearly, after paying the high price for tickets and refreshments people don’t want their theater experiences ruined.

AMC Theaters listened and let people know that the idea has officially been scrapped. See, if movie fans speak up loud enough, companies will hear us. Great choice AMC.
