We originally reported the new Independence Day sequel in March of 2015, followed by the announcement of the first trailer’s release last December, and a TV spot earlier this month. Now, a new action-packed trailer has arrived.

Since the aliens attacked, on Independence Day, we’ve known that at some time they would be back. It has been twenty-years since the aliens failed invasion. Now, it’s time to fight once again.

The new trailer for Independence Day: Resurgence has landed and in it London Bridge is really falling down. In fact, in the new trailer all of London has fallen, as have many cities worldwide. We get a glimpse of the post-alien world and we will see how humanity has stepped up its game with a serious arsenal. But the aliens have a new trick up their sleeves and a weapon that will be hard to beat.
