Alcon Entertainment has officially announced that Knock Knock actress Ana de Armas has joined the cast of Blade Runner 2, the long awaited sequel to Ridley Scott’s 1982 classic.
Denis Villeneuve (Sicario) is in the director’s chair for this sci-fi thriller in which Harrison Ford will be returning to reprise his role as Deckerd. Ford and Armas will star along side Ryan Gosling, Dave Bautista, and Robin Wright. Villeneuv will be directing off of the script penned by Michael Green and the original Blade Runner scribe Hampton Fancher. The Premiere date has been scheduled for October 6, 2017.
The original film a blade runner must track down and kill four replicants who have stolen a ship and returned to Earth to find their creator.
