BBC’s Jekyll Getting A Feature Film Adaption

BBC’s series Jekyll is getting a feature film adaption by Lionsgate. Variety reports that Ellen DeGeneres along with Jeff Kleeman will produce the new feature under the banner of their A Very Good Production company. Charles Mondry and Anthony Bagarozzi penned the script for the film. The search is now on for both a director and cast.

The UK series was created by Steven Moffet who has stated that Jekyll is a sequel to Robert Louis Stevenson’s novella Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. James Nesbitt starred as Dr. Jekyll’s modern day descendant who has begun to transform into his own version of Mr. Hyde.
