Clowns have long been feared. Makeup hiding their true identity, their evil grins, their strange sense of humor, it gives me the creeps just thinking about them. The creators of the upcoming film Clown Town, about a pack of psychotic clowns, are capitalizing on our fears of those wearing the big red nose.
Directed by Tom Nagel, Clown Town follows a group of friends who are stranded in a seemingly deserted small town and find themselves stalked by a violent gang of violent psychotic men dressed as clowns.
Clown Town stars Brian Nagel, Katie Keene, Lauren Elise, Greg Violand, Jeff Denton, Maryann Nagel, and Kaitlyn Sapp. The demented clowns are played by David H. Greathouse, Ryan Pilz, Chris Hahn, Alann Tuskes and Beki Ingram.
Clown Town will be released later this year, in the mean time here’s the trailer to tide you over.
