Fans of Ash vs Evil Dead are eagerly awaiting the series’ return this October. Bruce Campbell, Ash himself, is saying that this season we’ll see one of the most brutal death scenes ever to seen on TV. According to Campbell the special effects team has really outdone themselves on the gory scene, that will feature Ash’s 1973 Delta 88, seen below, covered in blood.

There’s an episode that’s basically around the Delta,” Campbell to EW. “It’s a pretty interesting episode, with perhaps the worst onscreen death in the history of all visual arts. ‘Worst’ meaning ‘Most outrageous’. Like ‘Am I really watching this happening? Am I really watching this unfold in front of me?’

Campbell dropped another spoiler, his doppelganger will make an appearance in season 2. “Well, he seems to pop up, that Evil Ash, he’s a tricky one,” said the star. “Ash always has internal struggles.”

I don’t know about you, but we can’t wait to see what this season will bring. With new cast members and a new location, I think we’re in for quite a ride. Season 2 of Ash vs Evil Dead will premiere on STARZ this October. Check out the trailer that was deemed too graphic for SDCC.
