American Horror Story has released the first poster for season 6 and it’s creepy. I hope you don’t have Arachnophobia.
Earlier this week we reported that new photos from the set of American Horror Story’s season 6, courtesy of TMZ, had revealed that the the theme will revolve around “The Lost Colony” of Roanoke, though no title or official synopsis has been released yet.
One photo contained the image of a tree with the word “CROATOAN” which is a dead giveaway. The word was the only clue left in the mystery of 117 people’s disappearance in 1590 from Roanoke, the North Carolina colony.
Today, we have two pieces of news, the first is that American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson star Cuba Gooding Jr. appears to have joined the show’s cast and has been seen on the set filming. At this time there has been nothing formally announced about his casting or what character he might play. Gooding Jr. co-starred alongside Sarah Paulson in American Crime Story, whose Ryan Murphy is the same man behind American Horror Story.
The second iece of news is that today TMZ released another wave of images from the set. The new images are of a colonial-style house. According to TMZ the fully furnished home, which took four months to build, will serve as the main set for season 6.
Lady Gaga will be returning for the season, along with Angela Bassett, Lily Rabe, Kathy Bates, Denis O’Hare, Finn Wittrock, Chloe Sevigny, Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, John Carroll Lynch, Even Peters and Sarah Paulson. The pale children from season 5 will also be returning, including: Shree Crooks, Emmory Mosteller, and Cannon Mosteller.
American Horror Story’s sixth season will premiere on Wednesday, September 14th on FX.
