Star Wars: The Force Awakens star Daisy Ridley has joined the cast of the film adaption of Chaos Walking, the novel trilogy by Patrick Ness, THR is reporting. Doug Liman (The Borne Identity) is in the director’s chair for the film, produced by Allison Shearmur and Doug Davison.
Chaos Walking, “…takes places in a world where there are no women and all living creatures can hear one another’s thoughts in a stream of images, words and sounds called Noise.”
The trilogy was published over a three year period, with the last book, “Monsters of Men” arriving in 2010. The film was adapted by Charlie Kaufman, with a script written by Jamie Linden.
