Fede Alverez, the director behind 2013’s Evil Dead, and producer Sam Raimi are ready to strike fear in the hearts of genre fans with the highly anticipated film Don’t Breathe, which goes far beyond your average a home invasion thriller. Don’t Breathe will leave you breathless with a mix claustrophobic terror, twists around every corner and horrific discoveries throughout the film.
Jane Levy, who also starred in Alverez’s Evil Dead, plays the role of Rocky, a young woman desperate for money who goes along with her boyfriend Money (Daniel Zovato) and their friend Alex (Dylan Minnette) on what they think is easy score. The trio target a blind man (Stephen Lang), but after breaking into his home they discover they have made a terrible mistake. Now, they are in fight for survival.
Alvarez not only directed the high-octane horror-thriller, he teamed up once again with Rodo Sayagues (Evil Dead) to write the screenplay. Raimi serves as a producer along with Erin Westerman, J.R. Young, Rob Tapert, Cristen Carr Strubbe, Ildiko Kemny, Kelli Konop , Alverez and David Minkowski. Mathew Hart and Rodo Sayagues are the film’s executive producers.
