After a long wait, ‘Solace’ is finally coming to theaters. The film was directed by Afonso Poyart and penned by Ted Griffin and Sean Bailey.
‘Solace’ follows FBI Special Agent Joe Merriwether (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) who is unable to solve a series of homicides. Joe decides to enlist the help of his former colleague Dr. John Clancy (Anthony Hopkins), a retired physician with psychic powers. Clancy, who closed his practice and retreated from the world after his daughter’s death.
Clancy wants nothing to do with the investigation, until he begins seeing violent visions of the death of Joe’s partner, Special Agent Katherine Cowles (Abbie Cornish). Clancy’s powers put him on the trail of a suspect, Charles Ambrose (Colin Farrell), but he’s not prepared for the insight and viciousness of the killer.
‘Solace’ will arrive in theaters and on VOD on December 16th.
