Back in August we got our first glimpse of Bill Skarsgard in full costume as the new Pennywise in director Andy Mushetti’s new, darker adaption of Stephen King’s ‘IT’, based on the script penned by Gary Dauberman and Chase Palmer.
Today we have the first still form ‘IT’ and Pennywise looks pretty damn frightening. Comingsoon.net originally posted the image, but quickly deleted the article.
A second image has surfaced showing the nightmare-inducing clown lurking at the end drain pipe.
In the film seven children known as The Losers’ Club come face to face with bullies and a monster that takes the shape of a demented clown known as Pennywise in Derry Maine. Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Nicholas Hamilton, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, and Jeremy Ray Taylor will play the seven kids in the Losers’ Club.
‘IT’ has wrapped production and will open in theaters nationwide on September 8, 2017. Hopefully, a trailer will be revealed soon.
