Directed by Colm McCarthy (Peaky Blinders), written by and based on the novel by Mike Carey, the film centers on a scientist and a teacher living in a dystopian future embark on a journey of survival with a special young girl named Melanie who may be the answer to a cure.
Academy Award Nominee Glenn Close plays the role of Dr. Cadwell, a cruel doctor who performs horrible experiments on children infected with a zombie like virus, but retain the ability to feel and think.
