The holidays are a time when many get together with their families, friends, and loved ones. And while it can be a time for happy and heartfelt reunions, it can sometimes also be very awkward and stressful.

Ryan Emerson finds himself in the latter category, as he is accompanying his girlfriend Sarah to to meet her family for the FIRST time and spend Christmas at their cabin near Lake Alice in Wisconsin. Not only does Ryan have to prove to Sarah’s father , Greg, that he is worthy of his daughter’s affections, he must also quell the bitter feelings he feels towards one of Sarah’s ex boyfriends.

As everyone begins to get settled and prepares for Christmas in the Thomas family cabin, so begin a number of strange occurrences.  When said events are brought to the attention of local law enforcement, it’s met with indifference bordering on antipathy.

A storm is on the horizon, and this Christmas could very well end up being the Thomas family’s last. A blizzard is about to consume Lake Alice and murderous evil is very close behind. Up on the housetop, click, click, click…this time around it’s definitely NOT old Saint Nick.

Lake Alice was directed by Ben Milliken  based on a script written by Stevie Jane Miller. The cast features the likes of Brad Schmidt (House of Lies), Caroline Tudor (Mortal Combat: Legacy), Brando Eaton (American Sniper), Peter O’Brien (X-Men Origins: Wolverine), Eileen Dietz (The Exorcist),Laura Niemi (Jobs), and Michael Shamus Wiles (Breaking Bad).

Lake Alice will be having it’s World Premier during and invitation only event at The Indie Lounge in Park City, UT on January 22nd 2017. So be sure to keep a weather eye for further information about release dates and possible further showings.
