Syfy’s ‘Sharknado’ franchise has always brought in killer ratings. For fans, the over the top special effects and the huge number of stars that appear in each film make the franchise is a favorite.
Fans will be excited to learn that ‘Sharknado 5’ has begun production. Filming for the sequel kicked off today in Bulgaria under returning director Anthony C. Ferrante, based on the script by Scotty Mullen.
Ian Ziering and Tara Reid will reprise their roles as shark slaying masters Fin and April. The couple will be traveling this time, making stops in places like England and Australia in hopes of stopping sharknadoes from wrecking the world.
