A week ago we got our first look at season 2 of Netflix’s hit original series ‘Stranger Things’ via a teaser trailer which revealed a glimpse at a giant monster that looks like something out of ‘The Mist’. Now, a new series of images have surfaced.

In season two, some people in town are aware of what happened to Will and the kids, others are not. Last season Nancy’s best friend Barb was killed and the girl is having trouble dealing with the loss and feels as if everyone has forgotten about Barb and moved on with their lives.  It appears that the world, or at least the town, is now in “The Upside Down” or the least, monsters have escaped it. The lab is still operating and is now run by Dr. Owens (Paul Reiser). The creators assure us that we will see “different kinds of horror.”

Season one starred Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Noah Schnapp, Cara Buono, Charlie Heaton, and Mattew Modine. It centered on a young boy who disappeared. His family and friends set out on desperate search. The boys friends are drawn into a dark supernatural mystery involving top-secret experiments, the government, and a terrifying monster. The boys discover a mysterious little girl known only as Eleven, who has strange powers. With her help the boys and two of the adults enter a dark place known as “The Upside Down” to find the missing kid.

Several new cast members have joined the cast including Sean AstinDacre MontgomerySadie Sink, and Paul Riser.
Season two of ‘Strange Things’ will premiere on Netflix on Halloween. Don’t worry, it won’t be the last season. The Duffer brothers have plans for at least 2 to 3 more seasons.

Everything changes as we move forward so we’ll see. Hopefully you’ll come to the end of season 2 and feel fully satisfied and want more but you’ll feel like it has come to a conclusion. But also we’ve laid the ground work for further seasons.” Ross Duffer says.
I want it to have a really finite ending. I don’t want it to be one of those shows that runs out of gas and they lose it because they’re losing interest. You wanna end when you’re on top.” Matt Duffer states about going out on top.
