The highly acclaimed zombie thriller ‘The Girl With All the Gifts’ will be making its way to Blu-ray and DVD this April frm Warner Bros. It isn’t your run of the mill zombie flick. It embarks on an emotional journey that most zombie films never travel.
Directed by Colm McCarthy (Peaky Blinders), written by and based on the novel by Mike Carey, the film centers on a scientist and a teacher living in a dystopian future who embark on a journey of survival with a special young girl named Melanie who may be the answer to a cure.
Academy Award Nominee Glenn Close plays the role of Dr. Cadwell, a cruel doctor who performs horrible experiments on children infected with a zombie like virus, but retain the ability to feel and think. Close stars alongside Gemma Arterton, Paddy Considine, Anamaria Marinca, Dominique Tipper, Sennia Nanua, Fisayo Akinade, and Paddy Considine.
