With Kong: Skull Island now in theaters and Godzilla: King of Monsters already in production with casting underway, it was just a matter of time before got our first news on Godzilla vs. Kong and today is the day.
News comes via THR that development has officially begun on Godzilla vs. Kong. Legendary has gathered a team of great writers to plan the film featuring epic battle between clash between the two giants. Pirates of the Caribbean’s Terry Rossio will head the writers’ room that includes Patrick McKay and J.D. Payne of Star Trek Beyond, Lindsey Beer (Dungeons & Dragons), T.S. Nowlin (Maze Runner), J. Michael Straczynski (World War Z), and Cat Vasko (Queen of the Air). As soon the story is outlined a writer will be hired to penn the script.
