With The Mummy approaching its theatrical release, Universal is moving forward with the next addition to their new shared monster universe.
Deadline has revealed that Universal has hooked a writer for The Creature From the Black Lagoon. Aquaman scriptwriter Will Beall will pen the reboot/remake of the 1954 classic that starred Richard Carlson and Julie Adams.
