
Mark Pellington, the director behind The Mothman Prophecies, has a new film underway, titled The Trap. The intense thriller tells the story of a reclusive author who is out to set the perfect trap for her sister’s killer after she becomes convinced that she has seen him on television.
The Trap, which is an adaption of Melanie Raave’s novel, is being written by the Oscar-nominated screenwriter Phyllis Nagy, Deadline reports.
Elizabeth Cantillon of The Cantillon Company and Josh Bratman of Immersive Pictures are serving as producers for The Trap.
