The first artwork has slithered in for Sony’s suspense thriller Serpent from writer-director Amanda Evans who is making her feature debut.
Starring Sarah Dumont, Tom Ainsley and Skye Russell, the film was produced by Distant Horizon with Brian Cox, Robert Naidoo, Sudhir Pragjee and Sanjeev Singh.
In the film, a romantic escape into nature turns into the ultimate moment of reckoning when a husband and wife are trapped in a tent with a deadly snake. Unable to escape and with certain death looming, the tent becomes a heated confessional to a cataclysmic truth. Betrayed, the couple finds themselves spiraling into a dark and dangerous space of which no one can survive.
Serpent will be holding its world during the Nightfall portion of the Los Angeles Film Festival on June 17, 2017.
