Remakes are everywhere these days, but most are centered around movies that everyone has seen, like The Mummy. One directer is going the less traveled route. Derek Carl is remaking the 1962 film The Brain That Wouldn’t Die and we have the first images.
In the new film, written by Hank Huffman, a brilliant transplant surgeon revives the head of his recently decapitated fiancee in hopes of finding her a new body.
Originally directed by Joseph Green, the black and white film starred Jason Evers, Virginia Leith and Anthony La Penna. Rachael Perrell Fosket, Patrick D. Green, David Withers, Jason Reynolds, Robert Blanche, and Mia Allen star in the new version of the film that will be unleashed next year.
