One of the biggest annoyances is having your favorite series interrupted by commercials and a lot of them. A few months ago Hulu started giving subscribes the options to go commercial free (for a fee of course).
Now, you will soon be able to watch The Walking Dead, and any other series on AMC, commercial free. Comcast customers will be able to access AMC Premiere for only $5 extra a month. Not only will customers be able to avoid the commercials, they will be able to watch exclusive content and movies to make the deal even sweeter.
It really is a fantastic idea. I only see one problem, when other networks take the same route, and they will eventually, fees will start to pile up. There is also the issue that not all AMC viewers have Comcast.
Will you go commercial free with AMC Premiere? Let us know.
