The season 8 premiere of ‘The Walking Dead’ is drawing closer. While we all want to know what’s going to happen with our favorite characters it is no surprise that news of new cast members are starting to come in.
While it has not officially been confirmed by AMC, fans of the series ‘Silicon Valley’ probably noticed the appearance of actor Avi Nash briefly in the season 8 trailer. Several sites are now reporting that Nash has signed on to play the role of Siddiq, a character introduced in comic #127.
In the comics, Siddiq, originally from Miami, Florida, traveled after the apocalypse began and found a home at Oceanside as a fisherman, but after meeting Michonne he leaves to join Alexandria. He plays an important role as the story continues.
‘The Walking Dead’s’ eighth season premieres on October 22nd with the series’ 100th episode. We should hear more casting news soon.
