Writer-director-producer James L. Bills is making his feature debut with the 80’s style slasher Hitchhiker Massacre. Today, we take a first look at the film that includes the first art and trailer which have just been released by Green Apple Entertainment.
In the film, based on true events, beautiful young hitchhikers are being slaughtered on the desert highways by a cannibalistic madman. Sally is trying to make her way home when she is picked up by the killer – can she survive the night or will she become road-kill?
Produced by J. Horton (Edges of Darkness, Monsters in the Woods), this bloodbath stars Ely LaMay with Calista Carradine (David Carradine’s daughter),  2015-2016 Penthouse Pet of the Year Jasmine Leo (Layla Sin), and Veronica Lavery as seen in Playboy magazine, John Blyth Barrymore (brother of Drew Barrymore), and Katherine Cronyn (granddaughter of Oscar-Nominee Hume Cronyn and Oscar-Winner Jessica Tandy).
This is not James L. Bills first experience in the horror genre. He has long worked in the editorial department on films like The Disappointments Room and Edges of Darkness, and on series such as ‘The Exorcist’, ‘Salem’, and ‘Sleepy Hollow’.
