Andy Muschietti’s IT will be a jumping board for many of the films young cast in the future. Owen Teague who plaid the role of Patrick in the movie has already scored his next big role.
According to THR, Teague has boarded the supernatural thriller Mary, which after a year is finally beginning production later this month in Alabama. He will star alongside Gary Oldman who has appeared in films like Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Hannibal, and Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
Directed by Michael Goi (Megan is Missing, American Horror Story) and written by Anthony Jaswinski (The Shallows), the film centers on a struggling family that buys an old ship at auction with the high hopes of starting a charter business, only to discover the ship’s horrifying secrets on the open waters.
Scott Lambert, Tucker Tooley, Alexandra Milchan, and Scott Lumpkin are producing. Greg Renker, Jason Barhydt, and Douglas Urbanski will serve as executive producers for the project which is from Tucker Tooley Entertainment and Entertainment One.
