
The trailer for the film adaption of Stephen King’s 131 page story ‘1922‘ has just been released by Netflix. Written and directed by Zak Hilditch (These Final Hours), the film stars Thomas Jane who has also starred in two other King adaptions, The Mist and Dreamcatcher.
1922 follows the story of Wilfred James (Jane) who murdered his wife, Arlette (Molly Parker), with the help of his son (Dylan Schmid) on their farm in Nebraska. After the deed is done Wilfred becomes convinced that his dead wife is haunting him. Kaitlyn Bernard, Brian d’Arcy James, and Neal McDonough co-star.
1922 will premiere exclusively on Netflix on October 20, 2017, following the premiere of another Stephen King adaption, Gerald’s Game which will arrive on Netflix on September 29.
