Who didn’t love the hit 1990 movie Tremors?
While there have been several sequels in the franchise since, Kevin Bacon, who starred as Valentine in the original, has never appeared in one of them. But that’s about to change, sort of.
Back in June, we reported that the television adaption of ‘Tremors’ had found a home on the Syfy channel. We also reported that Kevin Bacon will be there to reprise his role. That’s not all, Fred Ward will be back as Earl. Several other cast members have now boarded the series with Toks Olagundoye (Castle) being the most recent. Olagundoye will join Shiloh Fernandez (Evil Dead 2013), Megan Ketch (American Gothic), Emily Tremaine (Vinyl), Bacon and Ward. ‘Tremors’ is written by Andrew Miller with Vincenzo Natali in the director’s chair.
25 years ago Graboids nearly destroyed Perfection, Nevada. Now, they’re back and the town’s only hope is Valentine McKee (Bacon), who beat the worms once before. To do it again he will have to overcome age, alcohol, and a serious hero complex.
Olagundoye will be playing the role of Jessica Florence, a city-chic engineer in town to expand the access road.
