For fans of “the ghost with the most”, we have great news. After years of rumors and broken dreams, we are going to get to finally get to see Beetlejuice in action once again.
Deadline is reporting that Mike Vukadinovich from Warner Bros. has been tapped to rewrite Beetlejuice 2. While both Michael Keaton and Tim Burton have mentioned that they would love to have a sequel to the 1988 classic, but neither has signed on for the project yet.
Vukadinovich’s most recent project was the film Rememory, a science-fiction drama that held its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and acquired by Lionsgate.
There is no word yet about plot or cast, but we will be keeping an eye for more details.
