‘Boardwalk Empire’ Actor Joins The Cast Of Syfy’s ‘Tremors’ Series

‘Broadwalk Empire’ actor John Ellison Conlee (pictured above) has joined the cast of Syfy’s upcoming series reboot of the 1990 film Tremors. Conlee will be joining Kevin Bacon, star of the original film, who will be reprising his role as Valentine McKee.
Conlee has been cast as Harlan Maylor, a man obsessed with the Graboids. He’s described as rough around the edges and a close friend of Val’s, a genius who spent much of his adult life working for a biotech company, but now fills his days with yoga, meditation, and self-reflection.
Fred Ward, also from the original film, Shiloh Fernandez (Evil Dead 2013), Megan Ketch (American Gothic), and Emily Tremaine (Vinyl) will co-star.

Vincent Natali will be directing the series from the script written by Andrew Miller who doubles as the showrunner and an executive producer. Bacon, David Schiff, and Blumhouse will also executive producer ‘Tremors’.
