Last we heard Quentin Tarantino was working on the script for his ninth film as a director, a film based on the murders by notorious cult leader Charles Manson and his family.
The good news is, the script has been finished according to Deadline, but the movie has hit a speed bump. Bob and Harvey Weinstein were attached to produce. Of course with the sexual assault scandal, things have changed. Now, Tarantino is searching for another home for the project.
While casting has not been confirmed, it’s been said that Margot Robbie has been cast to play Sharon Tate. Reportedly, actors Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Samuel L. Jackson have also signed on to co-star.
Reportedly, the film will center on Sharon Tate who was 8 months pregnant when she was murdered. But she was not alone that night. Four other people were killed at her LA home on August 8, 1969. On that night four of the Manson family members, Tex Watson, Susan Atkins, Linda Kasabian, and Patricia Krenwinkel slaughtered the group under the orders of Manson. Many other murders have since been linked to the infamous family.
