A First Look At ‘Incident In A Ghost Land’ From The Director Of ‘Martyrs’

From the director of Martyrs, Pascal Laugier, comes the home invasion thriller Incident In A Ghost Land. Starring French singer Mylène Farmer, Taylor Hickson, Emilia Jones, Crystal Reed, and Anastasia Phillipps, the film is said to have a heavy Stephen King feel. The film centers on Colleen (Farmer) and her two daughters – the eldest, Beth (Reed), totally locked-in and shy, finds comfort in the stories she invents in the books she writes, and Vera (Philipps), way more open and self-confident, inherit her house. However, during their first night in this new home, murderers break-in, pushing Colleen to fight to save her daughters’ lives. Movie Review: ‘3’ Is A Revenge Film That Lacks Grit.

This is a tale of three people: “He”, “She”, and “It”. The man known as “It”, is a doctor who is traveling to visit a patient…or so he thinks. But when he has to stop on a back-road, because a car is blocking his path, he is rendered unconscious and abducted. This man will soon discover that another man known as “He” has lured him out in order to capture and take him away to an unknown location. His intention? Getting “It” to confess, on camera, to the rape of a woman known as “She”, so that the authorities will have “proof” and justice may finally be served. Of course “He” may inflict a little “private justice” of his own upon the man, as he tries to obtain a confession from him. Lou Simon directed this rape revenge tale from a script she also wrote. Unfortunately, 3 is a story that seems to be lacking in character and plot development.

Stephen Yeun Slays In ‘Mayhem’ – Coming To Theaters This November

While fans were sad to see him killed off in brutal fashion on ‘The Walking Dead’, Stephen Yeun kicks some serious ass in his latest role as Derek Cho in the blood-soaked, action-packed, infection-driven genre film Mayhem. While Mayhem, directed by Joe Lynch, is still making its festival rounds it has already scored an impressive 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. ‘The Blair Witch’ To Haunt New TV Series

Horror is hotter than ever and TV networks are taking notice. Over the past couple of years, we’ve gotten a lot of new horror and supernatural series along with series adaptions. We can now add another to that list. During a recent podcast with Diminishing Returns, Eduardo Sanchez, the co-director of 1999’s found footage icon The Blair Witch Project, revealed that the Blair Witch is coming to the small screen. For us, it’s a very natural thing to go and say, ‘Hey, let’s do a frickin’ Blair Witch show.” He continued. “You can say it’s from the original creators and we can bring in a whole bunch of interesting directors to direct episodes.” Sanchez was asked if the new series would be a prequel, a sequel, or an anthology the director said that he could not discuss it. Tarantino Has Completed The Script For New Manson Movie

Last we heard Quentin Tarantino was working on the script for his ninth film as a director, a film based on the murders by notorious cult leader Charles Manson and his family. The good news is, the script has been finished according to Deadline, but the movie has hit a speed bump. Bob and Harvey Weinstein were attached to produce. Of course with the sexual assault scandal, things have changed. Now, Tarantino is searching for another home for the project. While casting has not been confirmed, it’s been said that Margot Robbie has been cast to play Sharon Tate. Reportedly, actors Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Samuel L. Jackson have also signed on to co-star. Reportedly, the film will center on Sharon Tate who was 8 months pregnant when she was murdered. But she was not alone that night. Movie Review: Watch Over Us is a Demonic Flick You’ll Want to Possess

Watch Over Us opens with the thrill-a-minute action of a bald dude getting turned down for various jobs (he sucks at online dating too because I know you were wondering about that). As heart-stoppingly exciting as that is, we must move on…and we do, as our chrome-domed hero returns home (a dwelling that actually belongs to his invalid father) to eat dinner with his daughters…a dinner that is interrupted by otherworldly sounds and mini-tremors…an event we learn happens frequently. Giant Insect Movie ‘It Came From The Desert’ Releases A New Trailer

Let’s face it, bugs are a pain but imagine if they were the size of a horse. Witness giant insects attack in the new, full trailer for Marko Mäkilaakso’s (interview) giant bug movie It Came from the Dessert. ‘What We Do In The Shadows’ Director Confirms TV Series

We’ve got great news for fans of the horror-comedy What We Do in the Shadows (review). The 2015 film, that features a group of vampires struggling to adapt to modern life, is getting a TV series! According to Taika Waititi, who co-directed and co-wrote the movie along with Jemaine Clement, the series is in development. Waititi can’t reveal much at this time, but he did confirm that the show will be set in the U.S., unlike the movie which was set in New Zealand. We’re trying to develop a U.S. version of What We Do in the Shadows. You know, set here in the states, but a TV show.” Waititi said in an interview with Fandango. Waititi is currently wrapping up a promotional tour for Thor: Ragnarok. It would be a good time to work on the series.

‘What We Do In The Shadows’ Director Confirms TV Series
